The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for the Fredericksburg and Washington D.C. area for Monday for heat index values possibly exceeding 110 degrees. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for the Norfolk, Newport News, and Virginia Beach area for Monday for heat index values up to 113 degrees. THIS IS DANGEROUS HEAT.
